Simple Present Daily activites


Describes a permanent state or fact, or an action that often happens at present. Thebasic form of this statement of the main verbs in the infinitive is the same (that way you find in the dictionary) to without (to smoke smoke ®) with the exception of 3rds personsingular (he / she / it) that take a "s":

Examples
I get up at 7 everyday.
She gets up at 7 everyday.

Negative sentences
In negative sentences of this it uses the not = do not, for I, You, We, They and does not =does not, for He, She, It. The main verb followed by the auxiliary is always in the infinitivewithout TO:

Examples
I do not like coffee.
She does not like coffee.
Mary and John do not eat meat. They're vegetarian.

Interrogative sentences
The interrogative sentences are formed by placing or does the beginning of thequestions being preceded only by interrogative pronouns. The main verb is always in theinfinitive without to. In short answers, do-do not, does-does not replace the main verb:

Examples
Do you like hamburgers?
Often does it rain in the Bahamas?
What time do you Usually go to work?
Where do you go to school?
Do you speak Inglês? Yes, I do.
Does she enjoy parties? Yes, she does.
Does he take the 10:00 am train? No, he does not.
